I’m Sean, the founder of The Embodied Project. I care a lot about human-centered technology and wellness. In my professional life working in observability and AI, I’ve learned that optimizing metrics rarely applies to us humans. In wellness, fitness and nutrition, durable results come from education, learning your body, and enjoying life. Optimizing for how something looks on a dashboard means we treat ourselves like computers, and we’re not. We make progress by understanding our bodies, designing sustainable processes, and iterating over time.

I spent the last few years learning about human health, and with my combined experience in tech— specifically data— I began pursuing truth behind weight loss, weight management, wellness, and the beauty standards placed on us. I uncovered something meaningful: everything is connected. Our body image is informed by our ability to do things, and our confidence is gained through trying, adapting, and succeeding. In a world moving faster than ever, we’re trained to seek instant gratification. When we set a traditional weight or fitness goal, we almost always set ourselves up for failure (because we take advice from chatbots far too often); when we set human-centered and process‑oriented goals, we see a much higher rate of success, which leads to greater confidence and improved body image as a whole.

I design personalized, data‑informed roadmaps to help you reach your goals and provide coaching along the way. I specialize in mitochondrial health, metabolic health, endurance training, and nutrition coaching. I also work with weight loss and weight management, but not in the traditional sense: instead of promising fast results, we focus on the inputs you can control, the habits you can sustain, and the systems that make success more likely over time. I won’t promise a specific number of pounds lost; but I will commit to helping you build higher self‑esteem, greater confidence, and a healthier relationship with your body and your abilities. The things that make you human.

I currently hold a Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) credential from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)

I am currently working to complete NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
