Sean Schaab
I’m Sean, the owner and founder of The Embodied Project. In my professional life working in observability and AI, I’ve learned that chasing vanity metrics rarely leads to durable results. The same is true in health and wellness. Instead of optimizing for how something looks on a dashboard, real progress comes from understanding the underlying system, designing sustainable processes, and iterating over time. That thinking directly informs how I work with clients today.
I spent the last few years learning about human health and wellness, grounded in scientific research and peer‑reviewed studies. In pursuing the truth behind weight loss, weight management, wellness, and the beauty standards placed on us, I uncovered something meaningful: everything is connected. Our body image is informed by our ability to do things, and our confidence is gained through trying, adapting, and succeeding. In a world moving faster than ever (fast fashion, short‑form scrolling, virality), we’re trained to seek instant gratification. When we set a traditional weight‑loss goal, we almost always set ourselves up for failure; when we set process‑oriented goals, we see a much higher rate of success, which leads to greater confidence and improved body image.
That’s where I come in. I design personalized, data‑informed roadmaps to help you reach your goals and provide coaching along the way. I specialize in mitochondrial health, metabolic health, endurance training, and nutrition coaching. I also work with weight loss and weight management, but not in the traditional sense: instead of promising fast results, we focus on the inputs you can control, the habits you can sustain, and the systems that make success more likely over time. I won’t promise a specific number of pounds lost; I will commit to helping you build higher self‑esteem, greater confidence, and a healthier relationship with your body and your capabilities.
I currently hold a Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) credential from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
I am currently working to complete NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
